Mondays in the CISWO function suite (upstairs) in Glenrothes at
7.30.

With around thirty members, we cater for all standards and ages
and enjoy both serious and less formal types of chess. Our
facilities are excellent - a large, spacious function suite and
modern equipment courtesy of a recent Lottery grant. Annual
fees are £20 - a bargain!

Coming to a chess
club can seem daunting. Or perhaps you've tried a club before
and not liked it? Many of us remember having the same worries!
Chess clubs can appear a bit too serious and slightly
stuffy. We're
aware of this and, while we pride ourselves on having a well-run club
devoted to playing chess, we will
do our best to take the time to make you feel welcome
