(a) |
The club will run a quickplay/allegro tournament |
|

(b) |
The Quickplay will be open to all players, including
juniors |

(c) |
The format will be an all-play-all league |
|
|

(a) |
The quickplay will run on the fourth Monday of the month |
|

(b) |
The fourth Monday of the month should be kept free of all
other games – including TAFCA and championship matches. Where a clash is unavoidable, the room will be set out in
an appropriate manner. |

(a) |
Games will be 20 minutes per player |
|
|
(b) |
Quickplay evenings will last 7 pm until 9.30 or 10 pm |
|
|
(c) |
Normally three or four fixtures will be played each
evening |
|
|
(d) |
The top six players plus the best two juniors qualify for
the finals |
|
|
(e) |
The competition finishes the last Monday in May |
|
|
(f) |
The finals will be played on a single evening in June |

(a) |
The format of the finals will be to divide the eight
qualifiers into two round robin pools.
The winner of each pool will play the final. In the event of a tie,
the head to head result will count.
If this does not break the tie, then the player finishing higher in
the original all-play-all qualifies. The lower graded
player takes the white pieces in the final If the final is tied, ten minutes per player matches are
played (with colours alternating)
until a winner emerges |
